Philip Newton Bio
Canadian by birth. Gypsy by trade. A fan of photographs since childhood; raised on news magazines, art classes, box cameras, the smell of Gran’s oil paints and Uncles’ pottery wheel. Philip began working professionally nearly 20 years ago in the streets and studios of New York City, London and Paris.
He is sustained by a diet of fashion, travel, sport and personal photographs. His reportage style is natural, spontaneous and emotional. These past years, as a photographer, have been a wonderful blur of people, places and airplane widow seats.
